New feature: link things to comments

Refinder has just released a new feature that allows you to link from comments you are posting to things. This allows you to make communication within your team even easier and clearer,
since everybody will know what exactly you are referring to.

The "link from comment to thing" function:

To make a link in a comment, follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: click on the blue "link to thing" button next to the comment field. Then a
window opens that looks like the screenshot below.
  • Step 2: search for the thing you want to relate to. This can either be inside the
collection or also inside another collection. If the thing you link to is inside
another collection, then the thing will also be added into the collection in
    which you are commenting.
  • Step 3: click on the thing you want to connect and the link will be created.
  • Step 4: click on comment in order to post the comment.

And that's it. Of course you can link to any "thing" you might want - that could be a contact, a file, or an event...
